Merkava ARV Nemmera is a tracked evacuation vehicle and technical support vehicle of Israeli production from modern times. The length of the vehicle's hull is 7.6 meters, with a width of 3.7 meters and a height of approximately 2.7 meters. Most often, the drive is provided by a single 1500 HP GD833 diesel engine. The armament of the car usually consists of two 7.62 mm machine guns. The Merkava ARV Nemmer was developed on the basis of the Merkava MBT. The chassis and many mechanical components of the Mark III and IV versions of this tank were used in the development of this vehicle. It is assumed that a single Nemmer car can tow a damaged Merkava from the battlefield. Its equipment also allows you to replace the Merkava Powerpack in less than 90 minutes. It is worth adding that it is conventionally assumed that there are two versions of the Merkava ARV Nemmer. The first one (the so-called heavier one) has a crane with a lifting capacity of 42 tons, and the second one (the so-called lighter one) has a crane with a lower lifting capacity - about 25-30 tons. It is worth noting that the Merkava ARV Nemmer vehicles have mobility and provide their crews with almost the same ballistic cover as Merkava tanks.
