Orlik 014 Sopwith Triplane

The Sopwith Triplane is a British, single-engine, three-lobe fighter aircraft with a mixed design from the First World War. On May 28, 1916, the Sopwith Experimental Department launched its first triplane. The technical data indicated that the machine is very manoeuvrable and fast. Sopwith soon introduced this aircraft into mass production. It was equipped with the 132HP Clerget 9B engine, and was simply called the "Tri-plane" -Sopwith Triplane.
