The Stridsvagn m / 38 (another designation: L-60 M / 38) was a Swedish light tank from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this car were made in 1934, and shortly after it entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single engine Bussing-NAG with power up to 160 HP. The armament consisted of a 20mm Madsen cannon and a single 7.7mm machine gun. The Stridsvagn m / 38 was developed as a very far-reaching development of the L-10 m / 31 car, which served in the Swedish army from the beginning of the 1930s. Compared to its prototype, it had different armament, a different shape of the turret, but above all, a completely new suspension, which was revolutionary for those times and at the same time significantly improved the terrain properties of the new tank. Interestingly, the first single copies of these new tanks were purchased by Austria, Ireland and Hungary. Sweden did not order them until 1937, ordering the version with the 37mm Bofors cannon right away.
